Tomora Training Center is one of northern Colorado’s top equine boarding and training facilities, located just west of Greeley. With 320 acres of gently rolling fields, you can take a relaxing trail ride, go for a gallop, train your own horse in one of their 4 arenas or take a personal lesson with bronze and silver medalist, Nicole Roach-Reinsvold.
Tomora welcomes all styles of riding, as well as having a history of competitive driving, and supports the local driving organization. Training, lessons, clinics and events revolve mostly around dressage, but Tomora also hosts an annual USEA recognized/USEF licensed 2-day horse trials. They also support several combined driving clinics and competitions as well as daily lesson and training opportunities with their head dressage trainer.
History
Tomora Training Center was established in the 1970s by Tom and Eudora Roach. Through the hard work of 3 generations, Tomora has evolved into the premier boarding and training facility that it is today. Tom and son, Steve, competed in both local and national driving competitions. Steve continues to compete in combined driving.
Over the past 35 years, the family has assembled and personally restored the largest collection of antique carriages and stage coaches west of the Mississippi. These carriages and stage coaches are on display in the large temperature-controlled showrooms located at the front of the boarding facility.
Nicole Roach-Reinsvold and Natalie Roach, daughters of Steven and Tina Roach, have competed in dressage and dabbled in jumping since the age of 5.
Nicole has been nationally recognized and in 2009 ranked 5th out of a 5-state region of all professionals, adult amateurs and young riders competing at Intermediare 1. She is on site at Tomora full time, welcomes new students in most all disciplines and will travel for dressage clinics. See more about Nicole’s accomplishments at her website, Artistic Dressage.
Nicole graduated in 2006 from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a bachelor's degree in Business Communications.
Natalie graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder in May 2010 with a bachelor's degree in International Affairs. After graduating, she became the boarding facility's Barn Manager. She works to create personal relationships with each boarder and prides herself in her willingness to go beyond just being a barn manager by providing personal care for each boarder.
Natalie also runs the Full Care services of the boarding facility, specializing in customized services for each horse.
Natalie rides dressage as one of Nicole's students. Nicole has trained Natalie to four championship wins and numerous other awards. The team looks forward to many more competitions to come.
Natalie and Nicole will be available for assistance to boarders Sunday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and by appointment for any need.

Tomora Training Center is proud to say the facility is family run, operated, and managed everyday. The Roach family not only supports one another in all their equine endeavors, they support the boarders and try to be as accommodating as possible.
Nicole explains, “It is through personal relationships that our boarding facility is much more than just a boarding facility. We become a family of good friends, often supporting one another in new adventures and welcoming new friends into our family as often as possible. We do everything we can to make Tomora welcoming and accommodating for both horse and rider. We strive to make sure every horse is personally cared for.”
