Facility & Grounds
The Tomora Training Center is a well-rounded facility offering over 300 acres of rideable open space as well as 3 outdoor arenas. The attractive, brick-front boarding barn houses up to 32 stalls with runs, a huge indoor arena, a kitchen/meeting area, restrooms and the carriage showrooms.
Boarding
Horse owners can be confident their horses are well-cared for in their individual 12' x 12' box stalls with attached 50' x 12' run and automatic waterers. In addition, three out-pens provide a run-in shed and extra space for up to 2-3 horses each.
Board fees include hay fed twice daily. The staff also will feed your horse’s individual grain and supplements per your instructions.
Horse owners have the opportunity to maintain their horse’s stabling requirements regarding stall cleaning and bedding preferences.
- Box stalls with runs: $200-210/month
- Out-pens: $175/horse
- Extra hay is available for small charge
- Full care: $500/month (includes 5-6 days stall/run/waterer cleaning, blanket changes, shavings, turnout, extra hay)
Arenas
The outdoor dressage arena is a large regulation size of 60 x 20 meters (198' x 66'), sand-based surrounded by a dirt track.

The 295' x 150' jumping/all-purpose arena is often set up with jumps and ground poles for providing more challenging elements for your horse’s training experiences.

The oversized 370' x 155' driving arena is available for riding as well and provides extra space for some hand galloping as well as lounging and general riding and training.
The huge 210' x 80' indoor arena provides an alternative to the hot summer sun or inclement winter weather. Bleachers line one end for seating for clinics and competitions.

All the arenas have great footing and are groomed regularly.
Cross Country
"Out back" are 175 acres of rolling praire, an ideal setting for a cross country course. Jumping is only allowed while supervised by a qualified instructor. However, you can still provide some good hill work for your horse's conditioning.

Trail Riding
Tomora has over 300 acres of rideable fields. They grow their own hay, so you may want to stick to the field tracks during late spring and early summer until the crop is put up. There's still plenty of opportunity to stretch your horse's experience with some walk/trot/gallop.
Amenities
The boarding barn includes individual tack lockers for each rider/horse to store your saddle and most of your tack, pads, pails, and other necessities for horsekeeping. In addition, you can bring your own tack trunk to place outside your stall.
The barn also has a comfortable kitchen/meeting area and restroom facilities.
Outside is a 2-place wash platform and 2 round pens. Trailer storage is free.
